Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information TechOdisha collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to reflect India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If anything here is unclear, ask us — the contact details are at the end.

The short version

• This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
• The enquiry form does not send anything to our servers. It opens WhatsApp with your message written out, and you choose whether to send it.
• We only hold what you send us directly — by WhatsApp, phone or email — and we use it to answer your enquiry and do the work you ask for.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing.

What we collect, and how

When you browse this website. We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security and to keep the site running. These are not used to identify you.

When you use the enquiry form. The form runs entirely in your browser. Pressing the button opens WhatsApp with your name, phone number, district, the service you selected and your message pre-filled. Nothing reaches us unless you send that message.

When you contact us directly. If you message us on WhatsApp, call, or email, we receive whatever you choose to share — usually your name, phone number, business details and a description of what you need.

When you become a client. We keep the details needed to deliver the work, issue GST invoices and provide support — for example business name, billing address, GSTIN and site access details you give us.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
• To deliver, install, support and invoice the work you ask for
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Services from other companies

Some parts of this website rely on third parties, which have their own privacy policies:

• WhatsApp (Meta) — carries messages you send us, including through the enquiry form.
• Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google's servers to load them.
• Google Search — if you use the search box, your query is sent to Google to search this site.

When we work on systems you own — your website, network, CCTV or software — we may see data stored in them. We access it only as far as the work requires and do not copy or keep it afterwards unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for as long as the relationship continues and afterwards for the period Indian tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you
• correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete
• delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it
• withdraw consent you have given us

Send the request to the contact below and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We keep the information we hold to what is needed, restrict who can access it, and use the security features of the services we rely on. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

Children

Our services are for businesses and institutions. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

Changes

If we change how we handle information — for example by adding analytics — we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
