Software built around how your business actually works

Web applications, portals, internal tools, integrations and SaaS products, built in phases with the source code yours.

You are probably here because

  • Your business runs on spreadsheets that only one person fully understands
  • Off-the-shelf software forces you to change a process that works
  • Three different tools hold the same data and none of them agree
  • Staff spend hours each week producing reports by hand

Start small, on purpose

Most custom software projects that fail tried to build everything at once. Months pass, requirements drift, and by launch day the staff who were meant to use it have found workarounds.

We build the smallest version that does one job properly, put it in front of the people who will use it, and decide the next step from what actually happens. It is slower to sell and much more likely to still be in use in two years.

You own it

The single most common problem we are asked to fix is not bad code — it is a business that cannot change its own software because the original developer holds the code, the server and sometimes the domain. Everything we build is registered to you from the start.

When not to build

If a ready-made product fits eighty percent of what you need, buy it and adapt your process for the rest. Custom software earns its cost when the process itself is your advantage, or when no product on the market handles it at all.

Questions people actually ask

Do we own the source code?

Yes, in writing, from the first invoice. The repository, the hosting account and the domain are registered to you. If we ever stop working together, the next developer can carry on without asking our permission.

How much will it cost and how long will it take?

That depends entirely on scope, which is why we start with a short requirement exercise rather than a number. We then build the smallest version that is genuinely useful, put it in front of your staff, and price the next phase once you have seen it working.

Fixed price or hourly?

Fixed price for each clearly defined phase. Open-ended hourly billing on an unclear scope is how software projects go badly for the client.

What if an existing product would do the job?

We will tell you. We sell sixteen ready-made products ourselves — if one of them, or someone else's, fits your need, it will be faster and cheaper than building from scratch.

Have a technology requirement?

From a single CCTV camera to software that runs a whole institution — tell us what you need and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
